One Fine Day

THOUGH we know the days are dry and sun was high ;
Where the earth’s skin flakes as the wind passes by;
Like the numb hearts of people that asked us why;
And unbind us from our unrelenting tie.

Together we ran far. Far beyond the dark cloud of anger;
To seek refuge in the cold yet peaceful slumber ;
Where the cold sea breeze and swaying palms linger;
That brief moment together has made things farer.

Their company judged us not from where we came;
Neither from her youthfulness nor mine that wanes;
A blissful company that welcome us just the same;
That night, you were all mine and be my dame.

The hours crawls like weeks
And the day was almost like eternity
Enjoying life as I never had before
Just us and nothing more
